Denise Marie Farabaugh, 57, of Trafford, died Friday, January 9, 2015. She was born January 13, 1957 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Charles Edward Horvatin and the late Mary Louise Gibbons Horvatin. She was a member of North American Martyrs Church and Women's Guild in Monroeville. Denise was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and was also a former Homeroom Mother at North American Martyr's Catholic School. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School and the Pittsburgh Cosmetology Institute. She was proprietor of the former Hair Fantasies by Denise in North Versailles. She is survived by her husband, Daniel G. Farabaugh, son, Daniel Charles Farabaugh and daughter, Nicole Danielle Farabaugh at home, sister, Deborah L. Horvatin of White Oak, 20 nieces and nephews, 8 great-nieces and nephews, father-in-law, Daniel Paul Farabaugh, sisters-in-law, Diana (Sonny) Tresco, Cathy (Bill) Connelly, and Rosie (Jerry) Darr, and bothers-in-law, Chet (Chris) Farabaugh, Pat (Margie) Farabaugh, Tom (Pam) Farabaugh, Paul (Ruth) Farabaugh, and Bert (Laura) Farabaugh. Friends are welcome Saturday, January 10 from 6-8:00 PM and Sunday January 11 from 12-4 and 6-8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the North American Martyrs Church on Monday, January 12, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
