James K. Wigand

James K. Wigand, 77, of McKeesport, died Saturday, January 3, 2015. He was born March 6, 1937 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Frank and Jeannette Ford Wigand. He was a member of Beulah Park United Methodist Church, McKeesport and was a US Navy Veteran. James was a self employed painter and had previously worked for International Harvester in Chicago. He loved to walk, go to the Gym, and Golfing. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Mitzi Mathe Wigand, sons, Robert (Renee) Holtzman of Elizabeth Twp., and Timothy (Nadine) Holtzman of Versailles, brothers, Frank Wigand, Jr., of Medford, OR., Charles (Donna) Wigand of Zephyrhills, FL., and Gary Wigand of North Huntingdon, grandchildren, Timothy, Dean and Alyssa Holtzman, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jeannette Wigand Brown. Friends are welcome Wednesday, January 7 from 6-8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held at the Beulah Park United Methodist Church on Thursday, January 8, at 10:30 AM with The Rev. Kathleen Barnhart, officiating. (Everyone please meet at the church). Interment with Military Honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made your favorite charity.
