Joan M. Karsnak, 81, of North Huntingdon, formerly of McKeesport, died Sunday, November 30, 2014. She was born April 24, 1933 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late L. Jack and Alberta Boylan Kinlough. She was the wife of the late George E. Karsnak, Jr. who died January 12, 2009. Joan was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, North Huntingdon and was also a member of the former St. Pius V Catholic Church in McKeesport. Joan loved her family and friends and enjoyed playing Bridge. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and the Girl Scouts of America. Joan is survived by her daughters, Alberta (Kevin) Leytze of Venice Beach, FL, Donna (David) Pandullo of North Huntingdon and Eileen (Eric) McCombs of Canfield, OH, grandchildren, Anna, Gabrielle (Dean), Edward, (Tina), William, Jackleen, (Benjamin), Benjamin, (Samantha), Carley, Hunter, and Briahna, great-grandchildren, Aiden, Peter, and August, brothers, Kenneth (Diane) Kinlough of Avon, OH, and Terrence (Judy) Kinlough of White Oak, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Joan Karsnak, son, George Edward Karsnak, II, sisters, Jean Kuhn and Doris Evans, and brothers, Donald and Jack Kinlough. Friends are welcome Friday December 5 from 6-8:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday December 6 at 10:00 AM. in St. Agnes Catholic Church. (Everyone please meet at the church).
