Elizabeth J. Straud

Elizabeth J. Straud, 88, of Lincoln Borough, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014. She was born January 21, 1926 in Duquesne and was the daughter of the late Michael and Ella Witt Cooley. She was the wife of the late John A. Straud, Sr., who died November 24, 2007. Elizabeth was a member of St. Patrick Church in Christy Park. She is survived by daughters, Deborah L. (Dan) Wede of Belnap, IL, Susan M. Straud of Lincoln Borough, and Andrea L. (Jeff) DeHart of Dallas, TX, sons, John A. (Carol) Straud, Jr., of Elizabeth, and Richard E. (Marsha) Straud of Houston, TX, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia R. Jackson who died June 15, 2009 and 9 sisters and brothers.There is no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Patrick Church on Thursday, December 4, at 10:00 AM with The Rev. Vincent P. Velas, officiating. (Everyone please meet at the church).
