Herbert Ward Erickson

Herbert Ward Erickson, 86, of Elizabeth Twp., formerly of Perryopolis, died Monday, November 10, 2014. He was born October 28, 1928 in North Versailles and was the son of the late Alex Emmanuel and Alida Victoria Alm Erickson. He was a retired inspector for the former Westinghouse Astro-nuclear Lab in Large and was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII. Herb was a member of F & AM Aliquippa Lodge and was also a member of the Perryopolis VFW and the Honor Guard there. He is survived by his wife, Barbara A. Lang Erickson, son, Harry (Kathy) Erickson of Lincoln, daughter, Cynthia Erickson of North Versailles, grandsons, Gary Ramsey, and Seth and Josh Erickson, nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Wednesday, November 12 from 4-6:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
