Ralph A. Miller

Ralph A. Miller, 84, of Buena Vista, died Friday, November 7, 2014. He was born September 5, 1930 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Ralph Leo Miller and the late Ann Nemchick Miller. He was retired from Guardian Industries and had also worked for the former Sabin's China in Versailles for 33 years. He managed Sabin's softball team and was also an announcer for Leon's Softball Team at Renzie Park. Ralph was a former member of the Central Lions Club and Lincoln Borough Fire Co. He was an avid bowler and was a licensed professional bowling instructor. He was also a member of the former Elizabeth Valley Businessman's Bowling League. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Evelyn G. Martonyak Miller, daughter, Christine (George) Pack of Sutersville, brother, Lawrence "Ronnie" (Gloria) Miller of Florida, grandchildren, Kirsten Pack and Ross Pack, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gertrude Snyder and brother, Raymond L. Miller. Friends are welcome from Monday, November 10 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 11, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
