James E. Hoover

James Edward Hoover, 64, of Boston, died Tuesday, November 4, 2014. He was born January 31, 1950 in Bull Skin Twp., and was the son of the late Melvin and Gloria June Chambers Hoover. He is survived by his wife, Blanche Marie "Sissy" Rosier Hoover, sharing 42 wonderful years of marriage, daughter, Cathy Jo (Keith) Nolder of AZ, sons, Joshua C. Hoover of Lincoln and Jason A. Hoover of Port Vue, sisters, Melanie "Judy" (James) Dagger of Elizabeth Twp., Melinda Hoover of Brownsville, Melisa (Ed) Opfar of Elrama, and Jeanine Medved of Glassport, brothers, Melvin "Sam" Hoover of West Newton, Mark (Kathy ) Hoover of Hempfield, John (Connie) Hoover of Newell, and William Hoover of Buena Vista, grandchildren, Heather Nolder, James, Justin and Cassie Jane Hoover, Chandler Mingo, and Megan, Joshua, Joseph, Breanne and Brittany Hoover, nieces and nephews. James loved his family and adored his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, James Garrett Hoover who died April 25, 2010. Friends are welcome Thursday, November 6 from 6-8 PM and Friday November 7 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, November 8, at 10:00 AM, with the Rev. Jody Dausey, officiating. Interment will follow at the Chorpus Christi Calvary Cemetery-Port Vue.
