Charles Shannon Lucza

Charles Shannon Lucza, 58, of Elizabeth Twp., died Sunday, October 12, 2014 in UPMC-Shadyside Hospital. He was born April 22, 1956 in Versailles and was the son of the late Charles W. and Virginia A. Snyder Lucza. He was a member of St. Mary's Romanian Church in Christy Park and was a Registered Nurse at UPMC-Shadyside Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Gloria M. Flower Lucza, daughters, Michelle (Norris) Boyd of Greenock, Mary (Jeff) Stefle of Mt. Pleasant, Charlene Lucza of Mesa, AZ, Bridget Lucza of McKeesport and Virginia Lucza of Mars, sons, Michael (Lynn) Belardia of Forward Twp., and Hector Lucza of Elizabeth Twp., grandchildren, Justin, Heather, Erica, Brittany, Michael, Alyssa, Colt, and Alex and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Antonio Lucza who died February 5, 2014. Friends are welcome Wednesday, October 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 16, at 10:00 AM with Father Paul Voida, officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
