Jane M. Hahne

Jane M. Hahne, 98, of Pittsburgh, went to heaven on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Asbury Heights where she had been given loving care. Born November 28, 1915 in Mt. Oliver she was the daughter of the late Raymond C. and Elizabeth (Sippey) Hahne. Jane was a graduate of Carrick High School and Allegheny College where she was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa. Her Master's Degree was from the University of Pittsburgh. For 35 years she worked for United Methodist Women as a missionary in Lima, Peru and Juarez, Mexico. Upon retirement she moved to Bethel Park and then to Asbury Heights. A Celebration of her Life service will be held on Monday October 13, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Road, Bethel Park. Jane has requested that everyone wear bright colors. Jane is survived by Carolyn Lewis (Bill Kramer), Susanne Schmalz (Robert), Linda Lewis, Don Lewis, and their families. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Christ United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.
