James H. Greenewald

James H. Greenewald, 67, of Springfield, MA, formerly of Elizabeth Twp., died Saturday, September 27, 2014. He was born June 10, 1947 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Albert "Rubbie" Greenewald and the late Lois Nelson Greenewald. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Springfield and was a US Air force Veteran. He was a retired Electronic Tester for United Technologies-Hamilton Sundstrand. He is survived by his wife, Marie Ann Belardia Greenewald, sons, Steven K. Greenewald and Robert A. Greenewald of Springfield, MA, and Anthony A. Greenewald of Westborough, MA, brother, Rubbie (Donnell) Greenewald of Elizabeth Twp., a niece, Dana, and nephews, Ryan and Justin. He was preceded in death by his brother, Herman Daniel Greenewald. Friends are welcome Wednesday October 1 from 4-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday October 2 at 12 noon. Interment will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
