Agnes Irene Betz

Agnes Irene Betz, 89, of Versailles, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 8, 2014. She was born August 24, 1925 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary Elizabeth Evan Karaffa. She was a member of the former St. Peter Catholic Church in McKeesport. She is survived by her husband, William C. Betz, Sr., daughter, Carol Ann (Pete) Thomas of North Versailles and son, William C. (Cynthia) Betz, Jr., of Versailles, grandchildren, Bill Betz and Allison Adams, great-grandchildren, Evan, Sara, Emily, and Zachary and nieces and nephews. There is no visitation. Private service took place Wednesday September 10 in the chapel of Mount Vernon Cemetery with The Rev. Donald Jones, officiating. Inurnment followed in the cemetery columbarium.
