Thomas R. Essay

Thomas R. "Tom" Essay, 78, of Greenock, died Friday, August 29, 2014 at home. He was born June 26, 1936 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Samuel and Louise Mork Essay. Tom was a member of the Boston United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Wunder Essay, sons, Shane (Debbie) Essay of Greenock, Jeffrey ( Kristin) Essay of Rillton, and Daniel (fiancée Toni) Essay of Sutersville, daughter, Cindy (Mike) McNamara of Charlotte, NC., brother, Robert Essay of Greenock, grandchildren, Shane Michael, Jamie, Aaron, Anna and Elijah Essay, and Josh and McKenzie McNamara, and great-granddaughter, Naomi Essay. Private visitation and service took place Monday September 1, 2014 in the chapel of the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Twp.
