Sharon Dale Finney

Sharon Dale Finney, 70, of Port Vue, died Saturday, August 9, 2014. She was born November 13, 1943 in Birmingham, Alabama and was the daughter of Juanita Morton of Columbia, TN, and the late Charles Morton. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Port Vue, and was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. Sharon had worked as a Librarian in Bainbridge, MD, a Medical Secretary for Dr. Amalie in McKeesport and was a Legal Secretary for Attorney Lou Catalano in East McKeesport. She is survived by her husband, Eugene "Gene" R. Finney, daughter, Lesa (Bernard) DeMaio and grandchildren, Kelsea, David and Jacob DeMaio of Elizabeth Twp., brother, Charles (Judy) Morton of Columbia, TN, sisters, Cheryl (Lawrence) Nelson of Chattanooga, TN, and Juanita (Johnny) Cook and Emma Jean (William) Thurman of Columbia, TN., nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Tuesday, August 12 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 13, at 10:00 AM with The Rev. Daniel T. Straughn, officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow.
