Robert L. "Bob" Johnston

Robert L. "Bob" Johnston, 52, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, August 3, 2014 in UPMC Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born February 15, 1962 in Pittsburgh and was the son of Jane Quinn Johnston of West Mifflin and the late Lloyd "Bud" Johnston. He was the After Market Parts Manager at C. Harper Automotive, and was a member of the Moose Club and the Buena Vista Fire Co. Bob was an avid motorcycle rider. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Robby (Fiancée, Mary Smith) Johnston of Buena Vista, and Aaron (Angela) Krznaric of Indiana, his granddaughter Gianna Krznaric, whom he adored of Indiana, sisters, Pamela Haas of Waynesburg, Patty Ziegler of Washington, Mary Ellen Kudla of Mount Vernon, Sandy Ruccio of Bethel Park, and Betsy Himler and Katie Scalzitti of Greensburg, brother, Dan Johnston of Lincoln Borough, aunt, Clare Miller of Dravosburg, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are welcome Thursday August 7 from 2-4 and 6-9PM. at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church (Pleasant Hills) on Friday, August 8, at 10:00 AM with Rev. Dale DeNinno, officiating.
