John F. Kuzel, III, 66, of White Oak, died Saturday, July 26, 2014. He was born November 22, 1947 in Prague, Czechoslovakia and was the son of the late John Kuzel, Jr. and the late Mary Humenova Kuzel. He was President of the Interstate Detective Agency and had previously worked for ABC Detective Agency and Pinkerton Detective Agency. He had also worked as a Crane man at the former US Steel Duquesne Works. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School and Industrial Vocational School where he became an Electrician. John came to America on the Queen Mary when he was only 13 years old. He is survived by daughters, Sherrin Lynne (John) Thompson of Liberty Borough, and Helene (Timothy) Estep of White Oak, brother, Carl (Dawn) Kuzel of McKeesport, grandchildren, Brandon Timothy Thompson, Timothy Estep, Angela Estep, Britney Thompson, Dennis Wolfgang Estep, Connor John Anthony Thompson and Andrew Kadyn Thompson, and a niece, Angela Kuzel. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Gavin Michael Thompson and brother, Stephen Kuzel. There is no visitation. Funeral service will be held Thursday July 31 at 10:00 in the Chapel of Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Twp., with the Rev. Matthew Elanjileth, officiating. Burial will follow there.
