Cecelia "Linky" Trzyna

Cecelia "Linky" Trzyna, 81, of Boston, Elizabeth Twp., died Friday, July 18, 2014. She was born September 13, 1932 in Windber and was the daughter of the late Steve and Susie Oberjosh Salay. She was the wife of 45 years to the late Tadeus "Ted" (Tex) Trzyna who died August 18, 2005. Linky had worked for the former Mesta Machine Co. in West Homestead and was a homemaker since 1960. She enjoyed sports and coached Little League in the 70's. Linky was a 1950 graduate of Munhall High School. She is survived by her sons, Gary "GT" Trzyna of Boston and Bill "Jaylee" Trzyna of North Versailles, beloved grandson, Willie Trzyna of Mount Vernon, brothers, Steve "Pip" (Eleanor "Tweetie") Salay and John (Marge) Salay of West Mifflin, sister, Margaret "Fudgie" Mulhern of Munhall, many nieces and nephews and best friend, Mary Ann (Alex) Fulop of Boston. She was preceded in death by her sister, Agnes "Aggie" Nemetz and twin brother, Joseph Sally. Friends are welcome Sunday July 20 from 2-4 and 6- 8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday July 21 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
