Josephine Hendry

Josephine Marie Wills Hendry, 90, of White Oak, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014. She was born March 19, 1924, in McKeesport and was a daughter of the late Felix and Caroline (Avagliano) Iouale. She was the wife of the late Jack Wills and the late Leonard Hendry. Josephine was a member of St. Agnes Church in West Mifflin, Versailles AARP, White Oak American Legion and Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens. She is survived by sons, Jack D. (Carol) Wills, of North Versailles, Anthony (Patricia) Wills, of West Mifflin, and David (Melanie Bieder) Wills, of Palo Alto, Calif.; sister, Jean (Bob) Phillips, of Elizabeth Township; grandchildren, Brian (Monica) Wills, Shelley (Kevin) Scott, Cathleen (Steve Kossuth) Buhl, Christine (Scott) Kane, Cynthia (Shawn) Grilli and Jennifer (Michael Wolfe) Peters; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Margaret Yanuali, Rose Wills and Mary Ganuali; and brothers, Frank and Alfred Iouale. Private visitation and service took place Sunday, July 6, 2014, in the chapel of the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 6028 Smithfield St., Boston, Elizabeth Township. The Rev. Joseph Grosko officiated. Private burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
