William Richard Benner

William "Skip" Richard Benner, 76, of North Huntingdon, passed way peacefully on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Cedars of Monroeville. He was born April 12, 1938 in McKeesport and was the son of the late William and Regina Cavanaugh Benner and was husband of the late Rose Mary Skalski Benner. Skip was a US Army Veteran. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle A. (Ron) Argenta of North Huntingdon, Krista (Daniel) Carrillo of McKeesport, and Robin Jakowski of New Jersey, sons, William R. (Diane) Benner of New Castle, and Kevin Michael Benner of North Versailles, sister, Mary Patricia (Howard) Dangel of North Huntingdon, 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 3 nieces. There is no visitation. Private inurnment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville. The family would like to thank Cedars of Monroeville and Gateway Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
