Jeffrey Wayne Cartwright

Jeffrey Wayne Cartwright, 61, of Pittsburgh, died Thursday, June 26, 2014 at home. He was born January 31, 1953 in McKeesport and was the son of Dorothy Ruth White Cartwright of White Oak and the late Ronald Wayne Cartwright. Jeffrey was a Health and Case Manager at the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center in Pittsburgh. He was a 1971 graduate of McKeesport High School and was a US Air Force Veteran. He also attended the University of Pittsburgh. Jeffrey was on a waiting list for a liver transplant. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sisters, JoAnn Cartwright Leckman of White Oak and Jacquelyn Ruth Cartwright of Florida, brother, Ronald John (Andrea) Cartwright of White Oak, nephews, Matthew (Kathryn) Leckman of Philadelphia, and Erik Leckman of White Oak, and a niece, Amanda Marie Leckman of San Diego, CA. Friends are welcome Saturday, June 28 from 1-5 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel. on Saturday, June 28, at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center 865 W.
