Louella Jean Barno

Louella Jean Barno, 75, of Elizabeth Twp., died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at home. She was born March 25, 1939 in Pittsburgh and was the daughter of the late Regis and Margaret Carnakovic Piccardo. She was the wife of the late James E. Barno who died September 28, 1989. She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church in Elizabeth Twp., and AARP. Louella retired from Bakery Department at Giant Eagle in West Mifflin. She is survived by her sons, James Joseph Barno of Elizabeth Twp., Dave (Lisa) Barno of North Charleroi, and Dan Barno of Las Vegas, NV, daughters, Tammy (Ron) Perhach of Forward Twp, and Maria (Ron) Roepke of Chillothe, OH, 7 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bartholomew "Bart" Piccardo. There is no visitation. Funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the West Newton Cemetery.
