Reed Allen Davidson

Reed Allen Davidson, 79, of Boston, Elizabeth Twp., died Tuesday, June 10, 2014. He was born May 3, 1935 in McKeesport and was the son of the late John H. and Edna Louise Hiteman Davidson. He was the husband of 50 years of the late Dolores I. "Dee" Weaver Davidson who died August 25, 2010. He was a member of Port Vue United Methodist Church and was retired from Port Authority of Allegheny County. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia R. and her husband, Edward A. Propst of Middletown, MD, and son, Terry A. Davidson of Boston, granddaughter, Melissa Propst of Middletown, MD, sister, Nancy Jean Price of McKeesport, sister-in-law, Beverly and her husband Alan Rodgers of Liberty Borough, and nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Sunday June 22 from 1-3 and 6-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday June 23 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Josephine Whitely-Fields will be officiating.
