Edward J. Pierce

Edward J. Pierce, 73, of North Huntingdon, died Thursday, May 29, 2014. He was born August 9, 1940 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Thomas and Esther Dakos Pierce. He was proprietor of Edward J. Pierce Flooring. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen E. Jancart Pierce, daughter, Donna J. (Dennis) Mickanin and son, James E. "Jim" (Jessica) Pierce of North Huntingdon, sisters, Nancy Guglielmo of Dravosburg, Janice DeGivonni of West Mifflin, Beverly Cayrk of Atlanta, Georgia, and Deborah (Nick) Chaconas of Belle Vernon, brother, David (Dorothy) Pierce of McMurray, grandchildren, Allison and Sara Mickanin and Braden and Brinley Pierce, and nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Sunday, June 1 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
