Lila Lee Gdovic

Lila Lee Gdovic, 85, of Mount Vernon, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014. She was born May 1, 1929 in Boston and was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Hankins Davis. She was a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Elizabeth Twp, Elizabeth Twp. Senior Citizens and the Golden Oldies Bowling League. She is survived by her husband, John L. Gdovic, daughter, Karen Martin of White Oak, son, Larry Gdovic of Mount Vernon, grandsons, Bradford D. Martin and Chase H. Martin, great-grandchildren, Joseph M. Martin, Hunter S. Martin and Skylar N. Martin, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Judson E. "Judd" Martin, sisters, Genevieve Rack, Eleanor Layton, and Doris DelSignore, and a brother, Milton Davis. Friends are welcome Thursday, May 29 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM, at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church on Friday, May 30, at 10:00 AM with The Rev. Thomas Wagner, officiating.
