Connie Jean Burnheimer

Connie Jean Burnheimer, 67, of Elizabeth Twp, died Saturday, March 29, 2014. She was born October 8, 1946 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Frank G. "Ace" and Thelma Jean Heveker Ammon and was the wife of the late Thomas Dale Burnheimer, Sr, who died July 11, 2009. She retired from Community College of Allegheny County in West Mifflin after 30 years of service. She is survived by her sons, Thomas D. and his wife Marlene Burnheimer, Jr, of Bluff City, TN, Ronald R. and his wife, Dawn Burnheimer and Daniel T. and his wife Kelly Burnheimer of Elizabeth Twp, brother, Frank and his wife Sandy Ammon of Saltsburg, sisters, Betty Ammon of White Oak, Janet  and her husband Jeff Ivan of Irwin and Cindy and her husband Ray "Bud" Scheirer of McKeesport, grandchildren, Jessica, Derek, Maria, Alisha, Emily and Skylar Burnheimer, and Jenna Cindrich, great-grandchildren, Ava, Angelina and Caleb, sister-in-law, Karen and her husband William Badstibner of Versailles and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Leeds. Friends are welcome Tuesday April 1 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.  Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday April 2 at  10:00 AM.  Interment will follow at the Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
