June Bernice Kerchner

June Bernice Kerchner, 81, of Forward Twp., died Friday, March 21, 2014 in Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born June 18, 1932 in Bunola and was the daughter of the late Walter A. and Lillian Uhlman Smith. She was the wife of the late Martin Herman Kerchner who died April 6, 2011. June was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Bunola. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Nolder of Duquesne, grandchildren, Darla J. Poorman of Forward Twp., Michael A. Nolder of McKeesport and Aaron M. Ross of Houston, TX, son-in-law, Francis O. Poorman of Forward Twp., and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Lee Poorman, granddaughter, Amber Lee Halt, sisters, Martha Rippel, Elizabeth Strotman, Ruth Kvocka, Olive Stocker and Kathryn Andrejdes, and brothers, Dean, Walter, Delbert, Joel, and Paul Smith. There is no visitation. Private burial will be in the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
