Joseph Dobos

Joseph  Dobos, 89, of Uniontown, formerly of New Stanton, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at home. He was born August 14, 1924 in McKeesport and was the son of the late John and Anna Balint Dobos.  He retired from US Steel National Tube Works in 1984 after 42 years of service. He was a member of the McKeesport Sportsman's Association. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Jo (Ernest) Brown of Uniontown, twin grandsons, Michael and Mark Brown, brothers, William (Patti) Dobos and George (Betty) Dobos of McKeesport, sisters, Shirley Bakos and Marianne "Mae" (Roger) Marchetti of Orlando, FL, and nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Friday, March 14 from 4-6:00 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.  Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 6:00 PM, with The Rev.
