Josephine M. Barbera

Josephine M. Vadala Barbera, 83, of McKeesport, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014. She was born July 6, 1930 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late James and Rose Yeropoli Vadala and was the wife of the late Mario Barbera. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, and was a member and past president the White Oak American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Josephine was a graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 1948 and the Douglas School of Business. She retired from Equibank in Pittsburgh. She is survived by her son, Anthony Barbera and daughter, Diana Barbera of McKeesport, sister, MaryJane Stafford of Arlington, VA, grandchildren, Taryn Flaherty, Anthony, Jonathan, Kalynn, Christian and Breann Barbera, and nieces and nephews from Arlington, VA. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Marion Barbera Warren and Rose Marie Barbera and brother Sonny Vadala. There is no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick Catholic Church on Friday February 21 at 10:00 am.
