Gary Alan Paull, 31, of Boston, Elizabeth Twp., died Saturday, February 1, 2014 after a 2 year courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 30, 1982 in McKeesport and was the son of Thomas Edward Paull, Sr. of Boston, and the late Idalynn Morgenstern Paull. He was a member of the Greenock United Methodist Church, and was a volunteer at the Elizabeth Twp. Historical Society. He worked for the Farkas Construction Co., in Boston. Gary was a graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School Class of 2001. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved boating on the Youghiogheny River. In addition to his father, he is survived by his brother, Thomas Edward (Brandis) Paull, Jr., of North Huntingdon, and sister, Jessica Paull of Greenock, companion, India Lucas, grandfather, Ronald Morgenstern of Greenock and grandmother, Nancy Paull of Greenock, Aunts, Doris (Jeff) Gaudy of Elizabeth Twp, and Michelle Paull of Greenock, nephew, Jackson Thomas Paull and niece Savannah Lynn Paull of North Huntingdon, cousin, Natalie Gaudy of Elizabeth Twp, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Audrey Morgenstern and grandfather, The Rev. Wendell Paull. Friends are welcome Monday, February 3 from 2-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, February 3, at 8:00 PM with The Rev. Edwin Pope, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Gary's name. Private burial will be in the Peace Lutheran Church Cemetery, Greenock. Condolences may be made at www.gilbertfuneralhomeandcrematory.com
