Florence Petterson

Florence Petterson, 85, of Elizabeth Twp., died Monday, December 2, 2013. She was born December 9, 1927 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Martin and Tillie Bishop. She was wife of the late Frans Joseph "Joe" Petterson who died May 6, 2004. Florence was a member of First Evangelical Free Church in McKeesport. She is survived by her son, Karl J. (Sharon) Petterson, and daughter, Nancy L. (Bob) Wallace of Elizabeth Twp, grandchildren, Jared (Shawna) Petterson, Adam Petterson, Brian (Bernadette) Jordan and Jeff (Johanna) Jordan, great-grandchildren, Melanie, Julia and Jeffrey, sister, Marie (Bernie) Daczkowski of Elizabeth Twp, and nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Wednesday, December 4 from 4-8 PM. at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, December 5, at 10:00 AM with Pastor Steve Hospodar, officiating. Interment will follow at the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp
