Harry James Leber, 65, of Elizabeth Twp., died Sunday October 6, 2013 at home surrounded by love. Harry James Leber age 65, of Elizabeth Twp, died Sunday, October 6, 2013 at home surrounded by love. He was born July 29, 1948 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Harry and Dolores Gumbert Leber. Harry was a US Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. He received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Medal. He was retired from General Wire Spring Co., and was a member of the Elizabeth Township Ex-serviceman's Association. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Ann Hicks Leber, daughters, Jamie (Barry) Leber of Liberty and Lori (Frank) Cortazzo of Port Vue, sons, Harry (Christina) Leber of Greenock, and JC (Kalley) Leber of Elizabeth, grandchildren, Patrick, Cody, Frankie, Angelina, Danny, Megan, Bree, Dylan and Kayla, and one grandchild on the way, brothers, Chris (Cecelia) Leber of Port Vue and Raymond Leber of McKeesport, sisters, Cindy Donnelly of Mount Vernon, Darcel Leber, Cheryl (Ricky) Leshnock, and Theresa Messner of Glassport and Denise Barchanowitz of Dravosburg, sister-in-law, Jeaneen (Lance) Fine of Rostraver, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald and Marty Leber and sister, Roxanne Nagy. Friends are welcome from 2-4 and 7-9, Tuesday, October 8 at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel. on Wednesday October 9 at 10:30 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
