Ruth Helen Dugan

Ruth Helen Dugan, 86, of Elizabeth Twp, died Friday, September 6, 2013 in Cambridge Village, New Brighton. She was born March 15, 1927 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late George A. Johnson Sr. and the late Helen Marie Johnson. She was the wife of the late Joseph Thomas Dugan who died May 18, 1995. Ruth was a member of the Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Meals on Wheels, and the Golf League at Butler's. She was also a former Girl Scout Troop Leader. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Ann and husband George Kratsas of Philippi, WV, son, William Allan and wife Stacy Dugan of New Brighton, brother, George Johnson Jr, of Hampton Roads, VA, grandchildren, Erin Skaros, Jason Kratsas, Shannon Dugan and Ryan Dugan, great-grandchildren, Sydney Kratsas, Corinne Kratsas, and Liliana Dugan, and nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Wednesday September 11, from 12-2 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2 PM with The Rev. William Starr, officiating. Burial will follow at the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
