Frederick "Fritz" C. Sowerby

Frederick "Fritz" C. Sowerby, 77, of Elizabeth Twp, died Saturday, September 7, 2013. He was born January 13, 1936 in McKeesport, and was the son of the late John and Anna Markus Sowerby. He was a member of The Church in Sutersville and was a retired machinist from the former General Motors Fisher Body Plant with 17 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Claudia J. Hartzell Sowerby, son, David and wife Mary Sowerby of Herminie, daughter, Cynthia and husband Jeff Carson of Charleroi, brother, Jim Sowerby of Goose Creek, SC, grandsons, Joshua, James and Dakota, great-grandchildren, Elijah, Paytyn and Billy, and nieces and nephews. There is no visitation. Private burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
