James David Stirbis

James David Stirbis, 54, of Bunola, died Saturday, July 27, 2013. He was born July 3, 1959 in Monongahela, the son of James Edward (Florence) Stirbis of Elizabeth Twp, and the late Ruby Stirbis. He was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Elizabeth Twp. and the Blaine Hill Fire Co. Jim was carpenter for Carpenters Union Local 230. In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Karen Ann Chestnut of Irving, NY, brothers, Michael (Lori) Stirbis of Elizabeth Twp, and Daniel (Christina) Stirbis, Los Angeles, CA, step-brother, Clark Sterner of Houston, TX, companion, Cathy Bonifazi of Derry, nieces, nephews and cousins. There is no visitation. Service will be held in the Chapel of Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp, on Friday, August 2, at 2:00 PM. with The Rev. Thomas Wagner, officiating. Arrangement are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
