Alice Ruth Stokes-Istvanik

Alice Ruth Coleman Stokes-Istvanik, 73, of Greenock, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at home. She was born at home in Clairton on May 14, 1940, daughter of the late Marvin and Mary Wise Coleman and wife of the late Frank Istvanik. Alice was a member of the Elizabeth Twp Ex-serviceman's Association. She is survived by sons, James (Mary) Stokes of West Newton and Robert (Brenda) Stokes of Land O' Lakes, FL, grandchildren, Samantha, Robert and Nick Stokes, sister, Virginia (John) Bobbs of Greenock and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jimmy Stokes, brother, Marvin Coleman and sisters, EmmaJean Godfrey, Louise Fragassi and Betty Scurfield. There is no visitation. Services are private. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
