Joseph Darrell Longwell

Joseph Darrell Longwell, 70, of Glassport, died Sunday, June 30, 2013 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1942 in New Martinsville, WV, and was the son of the late John Lee and Amanda Ellen Moore Longwell. He worked for Gulf Transport in Braddock. He is survived by his daughter, Jody D. Govannucci of Herminie and her mother Ruth Ann Laughlin, fiancée, Marlene Mowry of Glassport, stepsons, Kenneth and his wife Hong Mowry of Leesburg, VA, and Mark and his wife Beth Mowry of Glassport, sister, Judy and her husband Fred Davis-Fox of New Martinsburg, WV, brother, Johnny Lee Longwell of KY, 5 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ellen Longwell and brothers, Eugene and Berny Charles Longwell. There is no visitation. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
