Rodger Lee Matthews

Rodger Lee Matthews, 54, of Elizabeth, died Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born January 28, 1959 in McKeesport, and was the son of the Ruth Ann Matthews Laughlin of Elizabeth. Rodger was a carpenter and repairman. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Shannon Matthews of McKeesport, son, Jeremy Matthews of Greensburg, granddaughter, Kaylee Matthews of McKeesport, sister, Jody Govannucci of Herminie, brothers, Robin Matthews of Port Vue and Terry Abraham of Glassport, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends are welcome Friday, June 7 from 1-3:00 PM, at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Burial will be private.
