Beulah V. Mason

Beulah V. (Sollars) Mason, 101, of Elizabeth Twp., died Sunday, June 2, 2013 at home. She was born February 12, 1912 in Kitzmiller, MD., daughter of the late John Edward and Flora Etta Hull Sollars. She was the wife of the late James H. Mason. Beulah was a member of Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church in Elizabeth Twp, McKeesport Hospital Jr. Committee, Queen Aliquippa Chapter D.A.R., Ladies Syria of Caravan #4 and was Past Matron of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter, Gail L. Hankins of Elizabeth Twp, grandchildren, Cyndee Hankins Richards of Versailles, and Jacalyn Hankins (Larry) Hart of Albany, Georgia, son, Jay H. Hankins of Elizabeth twp, great-grandchildren, Gretchen and Matthew Richards and Jonathan Hart, great-great-grandchildren, Victoria, Paul, Tabatha, Xandria, Victoria, Aryanna, and Rilya, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Apyar and Bessie Ashbaugh, brothers, Carl, Chester, Thomas and Woodrow Sollars, and son-in-law, John Hankins. Friends are welcome Wednesday, June 5 from 4-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, June 6, at 10:00 AM with The Rev. William Starr, officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
