Frances Syvilla Phillians

Frances Syvilla Phillians, 96, of McKeesport, died Tuesday, May 28, 2013. She was born January 1, 1917 in Luzerne Twp, daughter of the late Arthur Leroy and Mary Frances Hopkinson Trimbath. She was wife of the late Russell Phillians who died in 1976. Frances was a member of the McKeesport Presbyterian Church and the American Cancer Society. She is survived by her son, David (Judith) Phillians of McKeesport, sisters, Dorothy (Clifford) Gamble of Freemont, CA, and Bettye Nosenzo of CN, brother, Donald Trimbath of Pittsburgh, grandchildren, Tammy DiMartino, Kathy Patterson Young, Sheri Pavsek, and David Phillians, great-grandchildren, Cory, Jeff, Jen, Khegan, Calahan, Saige, Levi, Eliott, Gage, Gavin, Cylee, Taylor and Joseph great-great-grandchildren, Ansley, Avary and Clayton, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Patterson and sister, Ruth Ball. Friends are welcome Friday, May 31 from 4-8 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, June 1, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at the Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
