Josephine Ruzich

Josephine Ruzich, 90, of Port Vue died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at home. She was born February 2, 1923 in Cambridge, OH, daughter of the late Joseph and Mathilda Lippencott Ramsey and was the wife of the late Joseph S. Ruzich. Josephine was a member of St. Mark Parish, Port Vue. She was a tax preparer for H&R Block, and was manager for 15 years of the dress department of the former H.L.Green Co. in McKeesport . She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane and her husband, John R. Gracon of Port Vue, grandchildren, Scott and his wife, Tina Bryer, Melissa and her husband, Tim Gabauer, and Brian and his wife Courtney McCarthy, great-grandchildren, Abi, Maura and Alex Gabauer, Max, Jack, Luke and Heinz Bryer, Cade and Liam McCarthy, sisters, Dorothy and her husband Donald Koonce of Jacobsburg, OH, Donna Robson of Columbus, OH, and Karen Johnston of Bellaire, OH, brothers, Joseph "Earl" and his wife Florence Ramsey of Wilson, Roland "Bud" and his wife Pat Bates of Bellaire, OH, Charles and his wife Kathy Ramsey of Liberty Boro, and Rollie and his wife Bonnie Ramsey of Beverly, OH, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Jo-Ann Ruzich and Patricia Ruzich McCarthy, and sisters, Betty Ramsey and Mary Ann VanDyne. Friends are welcome Friday April 19 from 2-4 and 6-9 PM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Mark's Parish-Port Vue on Saturday, April 20, at 9:30 AM with The Rev. Daniel T. Straughn, officiating. Interment will follow at the Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
