Charles Carl Cleary

Charles Carl Cleary, 71, of White Oak, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital. He was born September 26, 1941 in Carrick, son of the late Charles and Aline Musulin Cleary. Charles was a graduate of Penn State, McKeesport and was a retired Senior Metrologist for Bombardier, formerly Westinghouse in West Mifflin. Charles was a Vietnam War Navy Veteran and served on the USS Kitty Hawk. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon with One Star. He is survived by his wife, Paulette E. Bull Cleary, sons, Charles Brian and his wife Shawna K. Cleary of Roswell, GA, and Matthew George Cleary and his fiancée Amber R. Lucas of McKeesport, daughter, Kimberly Renee and her husband, Sean P. Hennigan of Brunswick Hills, OH, grandchildren, Caitlyn, Matthew, Hallie and Lily Cleary, Sarah, Tyler and Andrew Hennigan, Karlye Lucas, Natasha Foxley, Nathan and Justin Demmig, brother, George Meyers of Pittsburgh, sister, Linda Luketic of Port Vue, sister-in-law, Charlotte Bull Wing, brothers-in-law, John and James Bull, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Paul Cleary, and sisters, Dorothy Harrison and Eileen Watson. Friends are welcome Friday, April 19 from 2-4 and 6-9, at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 20, at 1:00 pm with The Rev. David Kinsey, officiating.
