Robert "Bob" A. Dobrick, 67, of Elizabeth, died Friday, March 29, 2013 at home. He was born March 28, 1946 in McKeesport, the son Theresa White Dobrich of Elizabeth and the late Robert "Bo" Dobrich. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Toth Dobrick who died December 22, 2006. Bob was proprietor of the former Sportsman's Lounge in Elizabeth and had also worked on the Alaskan Pipeline in the 1970's. He was a US Air Force Veteran and had served during the Vietnam War. He loved Dog Racing, Horse Racing and all sports. In addition to his mother, he is survived by daughters, Julie A. and her husband, Charles Clawson of Bunola, Erin L. Dobrick of Elizabeth, son, Louis A. Dobrick of Delray Beach, FL, granddaughter, Madison Cynthia Dobrick, brothers, Gary Dobrich of Chicago, IL, and Shawn Dobrich of Sacramento, CA, sisters, Pamela Bizila of Indianapolis, IN, Winona Dobrich of Elizabeth, and Diane Dobrich of Hawaii, nieces and nephews. A very special thanks to the VA Medical Center in Oakland for their special care and compassion. Memorial service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, April 2, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Boston, Elizabeth Township. The Rev. Thomas will officiate. Private burial will be in the Lebanon Presbyterian Church Cemetery, West Mifflin.
