Ronald Rollinson, 64, of Port Vue, died Friday, March 15, 2013 at home. He was born December 5, 1948 in McKeesport, son of the late Harry J. and Ann Harmison Rollinson. He was a retired Corrections Officer at the former Western Penitentiary and was a former Supervisor at the Hempfield Foundry. He was proprietor of Roll's Pour Haus in Port Vue. Ronald served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He received the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Expert Rifle, and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a member of the Liberty Veterans Club. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Rollinson of Rilton, brother, Dennis and his wife Kimberly Rollinson of Boston, sister-in-law, Linda Rollinson of Apollo, niece, Renee Ibrahim, nephew, Mark Rollinson, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry "Skip" Rollinson. There is no visitation. Private graveside service with Military Honors were held Tuesday March 19 at the Corpus Christy Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Vue. The Rev. F. B. Lackowicz, officiated.
