Louise McKeever Fry

Louise McKeever Fry, 86, of Greenock, died Thursday, March 7, 2013. She was born February 19, 1927 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Harold Irvin and Larelda Young McKeever. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Thomas Fry, Sr., brother Harold Irvin McKeever, sister Marge McKeever Finney and daughter-in-law, Margaret "Peggy" Wall Fry. For many years, Louise was an active member of the former First Baptist Church of McKeesport. She also was a long time member of the former Swinging Squares Dance Club and Swinging Smoothies Round Dance Club. Louise was a retired bank teller for the former Eastland Equibank. She is survived by sons, Walter "Tom" Fry, Jr. of Clearfield, and Donald Fry of Pittsburgh, daughter, Diana L. and her husband Thomas J. Smedley of Bethel Park, grandchildren, Shari L. Smedley of Pittsburgh and Gregory T. and his wife Devon Smedley of Cranberry, great-grandchildren, Mason, Carson, and Sadie Smedley, nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Friday, March 8, from 5-8 PM and Saturday March 9 from 9-10 AM at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 9, at 10:00 AM with Pastor John Vaught, officiating. Interment will follow at the McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery.
