Ruth Ann Lavern Riley Salzer

Ruth Ann Laverne Riley Salzer, 72, of McKeesport, died Monday, February 4, 2013. She was born August 6, 1940 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Fred and Alberta Crawford Riley. She was the wife of the late Richard Howard Salzer who died January 4, 2012. Ruth Ann was a member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Greenock. She is survived by her son, Richard H. (Marilyn) Salzer, II of Middletown, OH, daughters, Lorraine Williams of Glassport, Amanda Stallard of Jefferson Hills, and Wilma (Donnie) Kircher of Liberty, brothers, Fred (Annette) Riley of West Mifflin, and Terry (Geraldine) Riley of Gladys, VA, grandchildren, Krystina, Karie, Nikki, T.J., Samantha, Angel, Carolyn, Teddy, Kaylee, Teanna, Aleah, and Donnie, great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Lauren, Taylor, Gavin, Thorn, and Jazmine, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, James Stallard. Friends are welcome Thursday, February 7 from 2-4 and 7-9, at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, February 8, at 10:00 am with Rev. Linda Theophilus officiating. Burial will follow at the Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
