Mary Ellen Beardmore

Mary Ellen Beardmore, 94, of Mount Vernon, died Sunday, December 30, 2012. She was born July 19, 1918 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Edwin and Lurena Williams Isakson and was the wife of the late Thomas James Beardmore. Mary Ellen was a member of the Mount Vernon Community Presbyterian Church, and was a retired Executive Secretary to the President of the former G.C. Murphy, Co. She is survived by her son Mark and his wife Karen Beardmore of North Huntingdon, granddaughter, Amy Beardmore of Moundsville, WVA, grandson, Scott Beardmore of North Huntingdon, sister, Florence Jean and her husband Harry Clewer of Nashville, TN, and sister-in-law, Betty Isakson of Naples, FL. She was preceded in death by her brother, William Isakson and sister, Anna Mae Vinal. Private visitation and services were held Wednesday January 2, 2013 in the chapel of the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. The Rev. William K. Little, officiated. Interment followed at the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
