Shirley Ann Gilbert

Shirley Ann "Nanny" Sandmeyer Gilbert, 78, of Elizabeth Twp, died Sunday, June 10, 2012. She was born Aug. 16, 1933 in Greenock, the daughter of the late Edwin and Margaret Gintner Sandmeyer. She is survived by her husband, H. Vaughn Gilbert, Sr., sons, Vaughn (Debbie) Gilbert, Jr., and Larry (Janet) Gilbert, daughters, Cindy (David) Obley and Lori (Paul Timko) Gilbert, sister, Linda (John) Peduzzi, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Richard "Pete" Sandmeyer and Allan Sandmeyer. Visitation is Tuesday, June 12 from 6-8 pm and Wednesday June 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
